Podcast: ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ on ‘We Are Starfleet’

I’m a guest on this Star Trek podcast, where host Mike Slamer and I discussed Discovery and Trek more generally.

I’m popping up all over the place, in audio form!

This podcasting lark is good fun and I’m lucky to be invited onto some of the ‘We Made This’ network’s many shows, so it was great to delve into my lifelong love of Star Trek as part of We Are Starfleet’s “First Impressions” strand.

If you read my TV recaps here, you’ll already know my in-depth thoughts on Discovery, but this podcast also dives into the origins of my fandom for the show (certainly in the 1990s when Trek was as its cultural peak). It also touches on thoughts about where today’s Trek’s going right and wrong, plus which of the other new series I like, dislike, or am looking forward to.
